The return of Aloy looks even more visually stunning than expected. We can also get the sense that Horizon forbidden west will take place in the new environment along with multiple new features. In the three and half a minute’s trailer, we can get the glimpse of varied landscape you are going to explore in the game along with underwater traversal. The trailer is showcasing that we are going to spend a good sum of time in underwater exploration.
While there are not much detail available about the sequel as fans may have liked but, surely the trailer looks absolutely amazing. Though it is hard to predict the gameplay, it has left the fans wondering how the rest of the game will look alike.
No release window was announced at the PS5 reveal event. There is also no clue when exactly the Horizon Forbidden West will arrive. Which is a big surprise considering how long and detailed trailer is. Therefore, the year 2020 doesn’t seem to be a year for its release, given Sony’s other engagement. So we can predict Horizon Forbidden West is likely to be released in the year 2021.
In Horizon Zero Dawn, a young hunter Aloy was looking for clues to her Past. The game was set in a post-apocalyptic world where the huge robotic creature has taken over the world and human survival has become difficult, they are reduced to a tribal-like society. Sadly very little is known about the Horizon Forbidden West. But it looks like the first game will likely to be heavily tied to the story. The trailer depicts the American setting and few hints about the kinds of enemies Aloy is going to face. The sequel is going to have some new environments to explore with exotic tribes to meet.
Here is the official description of the game from the Horizon Forbidden West Trailer:
> Horizon Forbidden West continues Aloy’s Story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.
This shows that the sequel is surely going to have more mysteries, varieties of machine animals and prehistoric vibes which we are very much on board for.
