The CW superhero drama TV series Batwomen 2019-20 created history in its first season by featuring a lesbian superhero at the top of the call sheet. It was also a first scripted live-action TV series to feature a lesbian lead character. Ruby Rose did a pretty solid job in season 1 and was a huge get for CW when she first landed the role. With her outstanding performance, she does everything possible in making the part of Kate Kane her own. But in recent times, there has been much discussion Over Ruby Rose exit from superhero drama series Batwomen.

The departure of Ruby Rose from the title role came as a piece of shocking news. And now, It has been confirmed from both sides that Ruby rose is not going to return for the 2nd season. The CW’s Batwomen TV series will be giving a new superhero to the Batwomen spotlight named “Ryan Wilder”. A woman in her mid-20s who will presumably hold the mantle.

In leaked casting detailed on Reddit, Ryan is described as a “likeable, messy a little goofy and untamed, she is nothing like kate Kane the women who wore batsuit before her. With no one in her life to keep her on track, Ryan spent years as drug-runner, dodging the GCPD and masking her pain with bad habits. Today, reformed and sober, Ryan Lives in her van with her plant.

Caroline Dries also gave a short sneak peek into what can be expected from the new character and why she believed making Ryan Wilder” a new lead. She stated > I think it helps the audience a little bit, too, that we’re not asking them to not address the elephant in the room. I am inventing a whole new character who in her past was inspired by Batwoman.

She will take on the mantle and is completely maybe not the right person at the time to be doing it, so that’s what makes it fun. She also believes that this new character makes sense and would be appreciated by Batwomen Fandom.
